Swamp Dogg - "Ugly Man's Wife"
By The God's Father, aka The Dad Of The Publisher & Editor Of Proselyte Magazine:
A note from the desk and the mouth of The Mother-In-Chief
I tried to get my dad, a legendary fan of Americana music, to review the new single from Swamp Dogg, a legendary maker of Americana music, whatever that word might mean to you. I sent him "Ugly Man's Wife" because it reminded me of Lyle Lovett, and he texted back that it reminded him of Lyle Lovett, so I texted him that I was glad he thought that too, because it was why I sent it to him. Perhaps this is not a "track review" in the conventional industrial sense, but he did study English, so he has a license to practice critical analysis, while so many music writers only got degrees in how to churn out propaganda that you've been force-fed.
The music is what matters. Proselyte out.
